Main uses

Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR): Accounts for over 50% of consumption; used in fiberglass-reinforced plastics (FRP), automotive/marine components, and construction materials.
1,4 - Butylene glycol (BDO): degradable materials (PBS/PBAT), PBT, THF, GBL
Coatings / Alkyd Resins: Modification to enhance hardness, drying properties, and water resistance (industrial paints, wood coatings)
Pesticides: Organophosphorus insecticides such as malathion and 4049.
Pharmaceuticals / Food: Fumaric acid, malic acid (acidity regulators), sulfonamides.
Auxiliaries: lubricating oil additives, papermaking sizing agents, rubber vulcanizing agents.
